The Komodo Score uses a Komodo Performance Sub-Score to measure and report on the user experience browsing the Internet. This sub-score is dependent on the maximum Internet speed possible (Internet connection bandwidth) on the computer network that is being tested by the Komodo Eye Device. It is also dependent on network congestion measured by the Komodo Latency Test.
The Komodo Performance Sub-Score represents the remaining available bandwidth to all users. Each user connected to the same computer network consumes a small portion of the total available bandwidth as they browse and use the Internet. Therefore, the value of the Komodo Performance Sub-Score is typically less then the Internet connection bandwidth.
Please see Wikipedia for more details on Bandwidth.
