- Automatic: device moved event - Komodo uses airspace scan data to detect when the device has moved to a new airspace then automatically triggers the auto-configure feature described below.
- Automatic: device offline event - Any device that is unplugged from power for more then 24 hours will automatically trigger the auto-configure feature described below.
- Auto-Configure Feature - The strongest signal strength access point will be automatically assigned a test for up to three SSID that you have already registered to your company. The auto-configure feature can be manually triggered using buttons on the dashboard. Login to the dashboard then click on the "Configuration" menu item and then "Devices" to see a list of devices. Each device is on its own visual card. Click on the "Auto-Configure All" button to re-configure all devices on this page. To configure an individual device click on the "Wireless" or "Wired" button for that device, depending on which type of test you would like executed. In this case, click on the "Wireless" button and you will see a device configuration screen similar to the one below. Click on the "Auto-Configure" button and the strongest signal strength access point will be assigned a test for up to three SSID that you have already registered to your company.
- Manual Update - to manually remove and re-configure a device, click on the "Configuration" menu item and then "Devices" to see a list of devices. Each device is on its own visual card. First remove any existing test assignments. If the device is executing wired tests the "LAN Testing" check box will be green; therefore, click on the "Wired" button. From the wired LAN card click the wrench icon to edit the existing LAN test, then click on the "Unregister" button. If the device is executing wireless test, click on the "Wireless" button from the device configuration page, then in the "Assigned and Assignable Tests" table look for the "Assigned" column and uncheck any assigned row and click "Save Changes". To confirm that all test assignments have been removed, you should see a "No Test Found" message on the device card on the device configuration page where all devices are listed (please see image below).
