How do I enable LAN testing?

There are two basic requirements in order to enable LAN testing on a Komodo Eye Device.

  1. Firmware version must be higher then version 44; currently, version 60 is recommended.  Please contact support@komo.do to upgrade your firmware.
  2. Komodo Eye Device must be wired to it's LAN port on the hardware and have a valid network connection.  Currently only DHCP connections are supported.  Manual TCP/IP configuration is a feature that is coming soon.

That's all it takes.  Simple.

Once these requirements are met, you can configure LAN testing devices the same way that you would configure a Wi-Fi testing device.  In fact, LAN test configuration is even easier because no SSID credentials are needed.
